Damascus, Jan. 13 (SANA) Syria’s Interior Minister Anas Khattab met on Tuesday with Jordanian Ambassador Sufian al-Qudah in Damascus to discuss enhancing security cooperation between the two countries.
The Ministry of Interior said in a statement on its Telegram channel that the meeting focused on strengthening bilateral relations and expanding security and administrative cooperation.
The discussions also reviewed the outcomes of Khattab’s recent visit to Jordan, including efforts to increase the exchange of expertise, develop joint procedures and reinforce coordination frameworks between relevant authorities.
The meeting forms part of broader efforts to bolster security and stability and strengthen the strategic partnership between Syria and Jordan.
