Syria attain Bronze Medal in the International Nuclear Science Olympiad

Syria attain Bronze Medal in the International Nuclear Science Olympiad

kuala lumpur, SANA – Syria attained the Bronze Medal in the International Nuclear Science Olympiad (INSO) held in Malysia with support from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

The event took place between July 30 and August 6.

The Excellence and Creativity Authority said in a statement, a copy which was received by SANA today, that student Muqdad Hassan Asfour from Homs, who is a student at the National Center for the Distinguished.

The Syrian team who participated in the Olympiad included in addition to Asfour, Malak Abdullah Nashed, and Tamer Abdul Manan Bahlaq, high school students at the National Center for the Distinguished.

Syrian Science Olympiad students have already won three bronze medals at the International Biology Olympiad in the Philippines, as well as four bronze medals and a certificate of appreciation at the International Mathematics Olympiad in Australia, four silver medals and three bronze medals at the International Chemistry Olympiad (IChO 2025) hosted by the United Arab Emirates, in addition to four certificates of appreciation at the International Physics Olympiad (IPhO 2025), which was held this year in the French capital, Paris.
