The Syrian Judo team won five medals at the Arab Judo Championship for National Teams and Clubs, held in Iraq.
In the junior category for girls and boys, the Syrian National Team won five medals on Saturday; two golds, two silvers, and one bronze, bringing its total to six medals in the championship.
The team’s medals came as Qusay Batman won the gold medal in the under 55 kg weight class, and Rand Al-Saeed won the gold medal in the over 78 kg weight class.
In addition, Haitham Al-Salihi won the silver medal in the under 50 kg weight class, Osama Hamido won the silver medal in the under 66 kg weight class, and the bronze medal went to Wissam Zizan in the under 60 kg weight class.
