New York, Sep. 23 (SANA) Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Asaad Hassan al-Shaibani met on Wednesday with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
The two ministers discussed bilateral relations between Syria and Russia and ways to strengthen and develop them, in addition to a number of regional and international issues of mutual interest.
Earlier on Wednesday, Minister al-Shaibani held separate meetings with Saudi, Turkish, British, and Armenian counterparts on the sidelines of the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
