Damascus, Aug. 15 (SANA) Syria on Saturday congratulated India on the 80th anniversary of its Independence Day, expressing its commitment to further strengthening friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates extended, in a statement, its sincere congratulations to the government and people of the Republic of India on the occasion.
The ministry wished India and its people continued progress and prosperity and reaffirmed Syria’s commitment to expanding bilateral cooperation across various fields.
