Kyiv, Oct. 1 (SANA) Ukrainian forces struck several Russian military facilities in the Donetsk, Luhansk and Zaporizhzhia regions on Sept. 30 and early Wednesday, Ukraine’s military said.
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said on Facebook that the targets included a facility used for the storage, preparation and launch of attack drones near Russian-held Donetsk, according to Ukrinform.
The General Staff said targeting such facilities was intended to reduce Russia’s ability to launch attack drones against Ukrainian infrastructure.
Ukrainian forces also struck what the military described as a drone command post near Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region and a Russian missile and artillery ammunition depot near Verkhniokamianka in the Luhansk region.
Another strike targeted an area where Russian weapons and military equipment were concentrated near Tymoshivka in the Zaporizhzhia region, the General Staff said.
Ukraine’s military also said it had confirmed damage from a Sept. 23 strike on drone storage facilities belonging to Russia’s Rubicon unit near Russian-held Volnovakha in the Donetsk region.
The extent of the damage from the latest strikes could not be independently verified, and there was no immediate comment from the Russian side cited in the report.
