New York, June.13 (SANA) Syria’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations, Ibrahim Olabi, met with UN Secretary-General António Guterres at United Nations Headquarters in New York.
During the meeting, Olabi delivered a written message from Syria’s Foreign and Expatriates Minister Asaad Hassan al-Shaibani to the UN Secretary-General.
Olabi reaffirmed Syria’s commitment to enhancing cooperation with the United Nations in a manner that serves the interests of the Syrian people and safeguards Syria’s sovereignty, unity and territorial integrity.
The meeting formed part of ongoing diplomatic engagement between Syria and the United Nations on issues of mutual interest.
