Syria extends condolences to UAE over death of two armed forces members
Syrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates

Damascus, Mar.9 (SANA) The Syrian Arab Republic extended its sincere condolences to the United Arab Emirates following a painful incident that resulted in the death of two members of the UAE Armed Forces after a helicopter crashed due to a technical malfunction.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates affirmed Syria’s full solidarity with the United Arab Emirates during this difficult and painful time, wishing the brotherly country continued security and stability.

Earlier in the day, the UAE Ministry of Defense announced that two of its personnel were killed after a military helicopter crashed because of a technical failure while carrying out its duty.
