Munich, Feb. 14 (SANA) Syria’s Foreign Minister, Asaad Hassan al-Shaibani, held talks on Saturday with International Criminal Court President Tomoko Akane on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference.
The discussions focused on transitional justice in Syria, accountability for war crimes and safeguarding the rights of victims.
Minister al-Shaibani arrived on Friday at the venue of the 62nd Munich Security Conference to take part in its sessions.
The two-day conference is considered as one of the leading global platforms for discussing international security issues, bringing together heads of states and governments, decision-makers, and opinion leaders to address Middle East developments, geopolitical challenges, and global stability.
