London, Feb. 6 (SANA) – The United Kingdom on Friday reaffirmed its continued support for the Syrian people, marking the third anniversary of the devastating February 6, 2023 earthquake that struck Syria.
The British mission to Syria said, in a post on X, that the UK “continues to stand alongside Syrians during disasters and conflicts” by supporting local responders, delivering life-saving assistance, and helping communities rebuild.
The February 6, 2023 earthquake caused thousands of casualties and widespread destruction across several areas in Syria and Turkey, particularly in Jandairis in the Aleppo countryside, as hundreds of homes were destroyed.
