Beirut, Jan. 15 (SANA) Lebanese President Joseph Aoun and Jordanian Prime Minister Jaafar Hassan underscored on Thursday that Syria’s security and stability are vital to the entire Middle East.
The Jordanian News Agency, Petra, reported that during talks in Beirut, the two leaders reviewed regional developments and reaffirmed their shared position on the Palestinian issue. They stressed the importance of consolidating the ceasefire in Gaza and advancing the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people, including the establishment of an independent state.
The meeting also highlighted the strong bilateral ties between Lebanon and Jordan, with both sides discussing ways to expand cooperation across various sectors.
Prime Minister Hassan reaffirmed Amman’s support for Lebanon’s sovereignty, stability, and institutional development.
