Doha, Dec. 22 (SANA) Head of the Syrian Central Authority for Auditing and Inspection, Amer al-Ali held separate talks with Russian and Turkish officials on anti-corruption and asset recovery cooperation in Doha, Qatar.
The meetings, held during the 11th session of the Conference of the States Parties to the United Nations Convention Against Corruption (COSP11), focused on enhancing collaboration on asset recovery, exchanging best practices, and strengthening institutional capacities. The discussions also explored ways to promote transparency, integrity, and bolster international cooperation in combating corruption.
The COSP11, held from December 15 to 19, 2023, brought together participating countries from around the world. The conference served as a key platform for tackling global corruption challenges, addressing urgent issues, and strengthening international cooperation for a more effective global response.
