Al-Mustafa highlights postwar media vision at TRT World Forum 2025

Information Minister Hamza al-Mustafa met Saturday with Fahrettin Altun, head of the Turkish Presidential Directorate of Communications, on the sidelines of the TRT World Forum 2025 in Istanbul.

The meeting focused on the state of Syrian media and explored ways to strengthen cooperation between Syria’s Ministry of Information and Turkey’s communications authority.

Both sides underlined the value of Turkey’s media experience and discussed how it could contribute to building future collaboration. They expressed mutual interest in exchanging expertise and best practices to advance the media sectors in both countries.

Al-Mustafa also participated Thursday in a panel discussion titled “Syria’s New Dawn: Charting the Path to Reconstruction,” where he outlined Syria’s media vision for the post-liberation period.
