Turkey Renews Support for Syria’s Security and Stability

Turkey Renews Support for Syria's Security and Stability

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan reiterated his country’s support for Syria’s unity and enhancing its security and stability.

During a joint press conference with his German counterpart, Johann Vadephul, following their talks in Ankara yesterday, Fidan stressed the need to support the Syrian government in unifying its territories and controlling the country’s northeast and natural resources.”According to Anadolu.

Fidan also reiterated Turkey’s continued support for the Palestinian people and the implementation of the two-state solution as a fundamental step toward achieving lasting peace in the region.

For his part, the German Foreign Minister described the situation in Gaza Strip as “catastrophic,” noting that his country had reduced arms shipments to Israel and that it would fully fulfill its obligations under international humanitarian law and toward the Palestinians.
