An Israeli force with two armored Humvees advanced on Saturday into the outskirts of Madinat al-Salam “Peace City” in Quneitra province, southern Syria, and left at once, SANA reporter said.
According to the reporter, Israeli reconnaissance drones flew over the northern Quneitra following the incursion.
Israeli forces frequently launch ground incursions into Syrian territory, in violation of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement, international law and UN Security Council resolutions.
Syria condemned these attacks and called on the international community to take a firm stance.
