EU mission affirms its support for the National Authority for Missing people in Syria 

Brussels, SANA – The European Union Mission to Syria expressed its solidarity with the families of victims of enforced disappearance, stressing Brussels’ support for the International Commission of Inquiry on Syria and the newly established National Authority for Missing Persons in the country.

In a post on the “X” platform on the occasion of the International Day of the Disappeared, the mission said: “We affirm that every family has the right to access truth and justice,” stressing that “the European Union supports the International Committee and the National Authority for Missing people in Syria, to ensure that truth, justice, and dignity are at the heart of the country’s future.”
