Damascus, SANA- Syria and Libya discussed Wednesday bilateral relations and ways of bolstering them in various fields.
That came during a phone call between Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Minister, Assad al-Shaibani and Minister of State for Communication and Political Affairs, Walid Al-Lafi.
During the call, both sides addressed prospects of cooperation between the two countries, the situation of Syrian community, and difficulties they face in settling their legal status due to the absence of any official representation of the Syrian state.
They also agreed on issuing the decision exempting the Syrian community from fines imposed.
Al-Shaibani underscored the importance of activating investment opportunities between Syria and Libya.
