Washington, March 27 (SANA) Apple is preparing the largest update in Siri’s history, including a standalone app and extensive AI-driven improvements across iOS 27 and macOS 27, according to Bloomberg.
The update, codenamed “Campo,” aims to transform Siri into a more interactive assistant capable of performing tasks across apps and delivering context-aware responses using personal data such as messages, emails, and notes.
The redesigned Siri will support simultaneous voice and text interactions, featuring a more fluid and responsive interface that aligns with modern conversational AI models. Apple is also testing integration with Dynamic Island to display visual indicators while processing requests and a new “Liquid Glass” interface design for presenting results, summaries, and key information.
The standalone Siri app will allow users to manage conversation history, search within chats, and upload images or files for analysis. Additional features under development include an in-app “Ask Siri” button and a “Write with Siri” tool for AI-assisted text editing.
While the core update is expected to debut at Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference on June 8, some advanced features may roll out gradually, potentially extending into late 2026. Apple is reportedly combining its own AI models with Google’s Gemini platform to enhance Siri’s capabilities and keep pace with the rapid evolution of interactive AI assistants.
