Occupied Jerusalem, Aug. 30 (SANA) Israeli occupation forces issued a military order to seize 37.481 dunams of land in the Ramallah and al-Bireh governorate in the West Bank, under the pretext of expanding an existing military site.
The Palestinian Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission stated via official news agency WAFA that the targeted parcels fall within unregistered land blocks with pending settlement status, encompassing several plots and interconnecting roads.
The commission emphasized that while land seizure orders do not formally transfer title deeds, they strip landowners of possession and usage rights, placing the property under direct military control.
It added that the order reflects an expansion of military infrastructure intended to secure surrounding settlements, exacerbating the impact of continued settlement expansion on Palestinian land.
