Occupied Jerusalem, Aug 8 (SANA) The number of victims from the Israeli war on Gaza Strip has risen since October 7, 2023 to 73,384 and 174,242 wounded.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health said in a statement on Saturday that during the past 48 hours, Gaza Strip’s hospitals received two dead and six injured.

The ministry added that the total number of victims since the ceasefire on October 10 has reached 1,257 dead and 4,131 wounded, in addition to the recovery of 806 bodies.

It pointed out that a number of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads, with ambulance and civil defense crews unable to reach them until this moment.

The Israeli war of extermination on Gaza Strip, which lasted for more than two years, resulted in a major humanitarian disaster, due to the massive destruction of homes and infrastructure, and the collapse of services.

The situation is getting worse in light of the occupation’s prevention of the entry of relief materials and those needed for reconstruction, despite the fact that the ceasefire agreement stipulates allowing their entry without restrictions.
