Syrian Arab Army forces begin to enter Sweida city

Sweida, SANA- The Ministry of Defense announced that Syrian Arab Army forces have begun entering Sweida city.

The Ministry’s Media and Communications Department said: “We recommend that our residents in Sweida city remain at home and report any movements by outlaw groups, which may resort to using civilian neighborhoods as a launching pad for their operations.”

It confirmed that the Syrian Arab Army continues to pursue outlaw groups around Sweida city and is continuing its operations to maintain stability and security.

The spiritual leadership of the Druze Unitarian Muslims welcomed the entry of Interior and Defense Ministry forces into Sweida province, calling on armed factions to cooperate with it and surrender their weapons.
