Dozens of beauty companies display their products at the "World of Beauty" exhibition in Damascus

Damascus, SANA – The fifth edition of the “World of Beauty” exhibition, which specializes in cosmetic industries and their supplies, was held at the Damascus Fairgrounds, with the participation of 143 companies from 14 countries, displaying their products in 89 pavilions.

Most participants emphasized that the exhibition constitutes an effective platform to showcase the capabilities of local companies in manufacturing cosmetics, perfumes, packaging, and industrial machinery, with these companies keen to use high-quality imported raw materials from Europe and produce them locally.

Participating national products have proven their increasing ability to compete, in light of the remarkable development they are witnessing in design and quality, to keep pace with international standards in the fields of beauty and personal care, despite the existing challenges with imported products.

Holding this exhibition reflects the recovery of the economic sector after difficult years and the ease of trading foreign products currently, following the improvement of business conditions in the country.

The exhibition also represents an ideal opportunity for local and international industrialists to meet and exchange experiences after a long hiatus imposed by previous circumstances, which enhances opportunities for expansion both domestically and internationally.
