Damascus, SANA – Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Asaad Al-Shibani discussed with the Chargé d’affaires of the Czech Embassy to the Syrian Arab Republic, Vitezslav Pivonka mutual relations, means to develop them to achieve the common interests of the two friendly peoples.
During the meeting, the two sides stressed the importance of enhancing cooperation in various fields, continuing coordination and consultation to support regional stability, and expanding the horizons of the partnership between Syria and the Czech Republic at the political and economic levels.
Syrian-Czech relations have witnessed remarkable development in recent years, especially in the fields of humanitarian and development cooperation.
The Czech Republic has maintained an active diplomatic representation in Damascus and provided assistance in multiple sectors, and bilateral meetings reflect a common desire to strengthen the partnership and expand cooperation to serve the interests of the two peoples.
