Damascus, SANA- Minister of Information Dr. Hamza al-Mustafa discussed Thursday with a delegation from the Syrian-American Alliance for Peace and Prosperity, headed by Ms. Alia Natafgi, Director of the organization, ways of joint cooperation between the two sides, during a meeting held at the Ministry’s headquarters in Damascus.
The meeting addressed mechanisms for developing media relations with Syrian organizations operating abroad, in addition to discussing the strategic plan developed by the Ministry to modernize media discourse and enhance the national role of media institutions in light of the current challenges.
Minister Mustafa stressed the importance of the vital role played by the of Syrian community in the United States in supporting Syrian media, whether by conveying Syria’s voice to international forums or through technical and professional initiatives that contribute to enhancing the efficiency of the media sector.
