Homs, SANA- A security source in Homs countryside said that the Syrian security forces managed to arrest the criminal “Wassim al-Assad” in a tight security operation on the Syrian-Lebanese border.
“In a tight and Joint security operation was able to lure the criminal Wassim al-Assad, who is considered one of the most prominent drug dealers and involved in several crimes during the era of the former regime” the Interior Ministry posted via its Telegram channel on Saturday.
The Ministry indicated that the operation was carried out by one of its Special Tasks Department teams, through a tight ambush that resulted in his successful arrest. It emphasized that this step reflects its strong commitment to combating crime and achieving justice.
