Damascus, SANA- President Ahmad al-Sharaa met Thursday the Chairman of the National Authority for Missing Persons, Mohammad Reda Jalkhi, to review the Commission’s work and the plans and practical measures related to forming an advisory team of experts along with representatives of missing person and relevant authorities.
Discussions also delt with establishing a comprehensive national database for missing persons, organizing documentation processes, and providing moral and legal support to the families of missing persons.
It was emphasized on the need to adopt transparency and partnership as fundamental principles governing the Commission’s work, ensuring the preservation of the rights of missing persons and their families.
