Communications Ministry denies allegations of private interference or new contracts with Arab or foreign entities

Damascus, SANA-The Ministry of Communications and Technology has issued a statement in response to claims circulating on certain platforms alleging interference by private entities in its operations or the signing of new contracts with Arab or foreign parties. The Ministry affirms that these allegations are entirely baseless and categorically false, having no connection whatsoever to the mentioned entities.

In the statement received by SANA, the Ministry clarified that Syria has entered a new era, and the Ministry manages its operations and relations—both domestic and international—with transparency and in accordance with legal principles and applicable regulations. It emphasized that any attempt at unlawful interference must be reported to the Ministry immediately.

The Ministry also called on public figures and influencers to act with national and ethical responsibility by verifying information through official sources and refraining from spreading rumors and false news.

It further confirmed that its doors remain open to receive any inquiries, suggestions, or complaints. Should there be any credible information regarding interference or violations, it can be submitted directly to the Office of the Minister of Communications and Technology for appropriate action.
