Ministry of Social Affairs, ILO explore ways to bolster joint collaboration

Damascus, SANA- Minister of Social Affairs and Labour, Hind Kabawat, has met with Ruba Jaradat, Regional Director of the International Labour Organization (ILO), along with a delegation from the organization, to discuss ways to enhance joint cooperation.

The meeting, held at the ministry’s headquarters, focused on the state of the labor market in Syria and strategies to strengthen collaboration between both sides.

Minister Kabawat emphasized the importance of a flexible approach regarding the lifting of sanctions, as it plays a crucial role in enabling the ministry to carry out its duties and deliver services more effectively.

According to the ministry’s Telegram channel, the minister also stressed the necessity of developing vocational training institutes and enhancing their role in revitalizing the labor market while improving the efficiency of the national workforce.
