Al-Mansour: Lifting sanctions on Syria is a strategic shift and a new starting point for economic recovery

Damascus, SANA- Waseem AL-Mansour, Head of the Central authority for Financial Control (CAFS) , affirmed that lifting sanctions on Syria represents a strategic shift and a new starting point for economic recovery and contributes to opening broader horizons for development across various sectors.

Al-Mansour stated to SANA’s reporter that lifting the sanctions provides a valuable opportunity to expand the economic activity, contributes directly to stimulating trade exchange, and attracts investments that will have positive effects on the country’s finances.

He said that the decision of lifting the sanctions instilled new hope and promising opportunities in everyone’s hearts, and constitutes an important step toward strengthening economic and financial stability in the country.
