Social Affairs Ministry reactivates labour market platform to enhance employment opportunities

Damascus, SANA- As part of its efforts to bolster employment opportunities and develop the labor market, Ministry of Social Affairs and Labour announced Sunday reactivating the labor market platform.

Ministry’s media office said in a statement to SANA that reactivating the platform is considered as an important step to support employment and help employers to find the appropriate competencies and skills to fill the employment vacancies.

The platform also provides facilitations to access training, qualification, and skills development services in a way that would raise the employment opportunities, in addition to other services, according to the statement.

The media office also stressed the ministry is committed to boosting partnerships with both public and private sectors, in way that would enhance sustainable development.
