Daraa, SANA- Many tourist delegations from different countries of the world visited the ancient city of Bosra al-Sham to see its historical monuments and learn about its ancient civilizations.A number of tourist delegations visit the ancient city of Bosra al-Sham

“the increase in the number of tourists is due to the return of security and safety throughout the region, and the elimination of restrictions that were imposed on tourism work in the past.” Daraa Tourism Director Yasser al-Saadi told SANA reporter.

General Directorate of Antiquities, in cooperation with the relevant international organizations, carried out a number of restoration works, whether in the citadel, the theater, or the rest of the sites, to be fully prepared, after they were affected by the bombing that targeted them during the era of the former regime, which led to the complete destruction of some of them, As the head of the Bosra Antiquities Department, Alaa Al-Salah said.

Bosra al-Sham includes more than 45 archaeological sites registered on the World Heritage List, including a theater, a castle, mosques, monasteries, and palaces.
