Board member of the Union, Haitham Saltaji, stated to SANA that approximately 25 associations and organizations dedicated to orphans participated in the event.

He highlighted the Union’s efforts to support all organizations caring for orphans in various fields, as well as to develop their work to enhance the quality of services provided to them.

Meanwhile, the Union’s Treasurer, Safwan al-Hamawi, emphasized the importance of enhancing services for orphans to enable them to be more productive and impactful in society in the future, contributing to the rebuilding of Syria, especially after the significant victory achieved by the Syrian people.

Mohammad al-Omar, Supervisor of Exhibitions and Festivals at the Chamber of Industry in Damascus and its countryside, noted the contributions of several companies to the event through offering their products to the children. He explained that the Chamber has implemented several initiatives during Ramadan to support needy families.

Several volunteers from the participating associations emphasized the need to strengthen such initiatives to support orphans and contribute to providing them with the best educational services.
