Health Ministry discusses with (SEMA) Organization ways to support hospitals and improve medical services

Damascus, SANA- Acting Minister of Health Dr.Maher al-Sharaa discussed on Sunday with
a delegation from Syrian Expatriates Medical Association (SEMA), ways of joint cooperation and support for the health sector in Syria.

During a meeting held at the Ministry in Damascus, Dr. Al-Sharaa reviewed the obstacles facing health sector in Syria, pointing out the importance of partnership between the Ministry and the organization to support hospitals and health centers, and improve the quality of medical services provided to patients.

In turn, the CEO of the “Sema” organization, Dr. Muhammad Hassan Maghrabiyya, affirmed the need to inform the organization’s medical team about the progress of providing health services to the patients, and to listen to health-care providers about the difficulties they face to help them overcome them, which contributes to providing services to patients in the best possible way, stressing the organization’s support for the health sector in Syria to achieve its humanitarian goals in serving citizens and alleviating their suffering.
