Damascus, SANA- The first semester exams for the academic year 2024-2025 began at Damascus University and its branches in the provinces and will continue till March the 6th.
“About 173,000 students in Damascus colleges and its branches in the governorates started Sunday to take their exams”, University’s Business Committee Member, Dr. Muhammad Turko said in a statement to SANA.
Dr. Turko added “the committee has taken all necessary measures to ensure implementing the instructions circulated by the University Council”.
He stated that the committee directed the college administration to equip the examination halls with all necessary supplies, stressing on the presence of faculty members inside the halls and calling on students to fully adhere to the examination instructions.
It is noteworthy that Damascus University comprises 18 colleges in Damascus, 6 colleges in Daraa, 7 colleges in Sweida, and 5 colleges in Quneitra.
