Electricity Minister, accompanied by an Italian delegation, inspects a power station in the Damascus countryside

Damascus countryside, SANA- Minister of Electricity, Eng. Omar Shaqrouq, inspected on Thursday, the Deir Ali power station at Damascus countryside during a tour accompanied by an Italian delegation headed by Ambassador Stefano Ravagnan and representatives of the Italian energy company “Ansaldo.”

Minister Shaqrouq stressed the importance of the role of Italian companies in providing spare parts and maintaining stations, while the delegation expressed its readiness to cooperate in order to develop the electricity sector in Syria.
