Doha, Dec. 17 (SANA) Syria’s Minister of Public Works and Housing, Mustafa Abdul Razzaq, met with Qatar’s Minister of Municipality, Abdullah bin Hamad bin Abdullah Al-Attiyah, on Tuesday to discuss cooperation in urban planning and municipal services. The talks took place on the sidelines of the 42nd session of the Council of Arab Ministers of Housing and Reconstruction.
Minister Abdul Razzaq expressed Syria’s gratitude for Qatar’s ongoing support for the Syrian people and emphasized Syria’s interest in exchanging expertise and learning from Qatar’s advanced practices.
In turn, the Qatari minister highlighted his country’s efforts in urban planning and municipal service provision, underscoring Qatar’s openness to expanding cooperation and signing agreements in areas of mutual interest. The two ministers agreed to continue coordinating through the Syrian Embassy in Doha.
The Council of Arab Ministers session aims to strengthen Arab cooperation in housing, urban planning, and infrastructure development.
