Director of Quneitra Education, Hikmat Diab told SANA: “today we witnessed an important event at al-Koum Secondary School in celebration of the anniversary of victory and the Deterrence of Aggression operation. Our presence and participation come as a show of support for the students and to reinforce the significance of this occasion in instilling the meanings of victory in their minds.”

The event concluded with the teaching staff emphasizing the importance of such occasions in strengthening students’ national awareness and fostering their sense of responsibility and belonging.
The “Deterrence of Aggression operation” began on November 27 of last year and ended on December 8, with the liberation of Syria from the former Assad regime. A day Syrians had dreamed of since the launch of their great revolution in March 2011, for which nearly a million martyrs fell under bombardment or torture in detention, in addition to the millions displaced and forced into exile.
