Mass rally in Lattakia marks anniversary of ‘Battle of Deterrence of Aggression’

Martyrs’ Square in Lattakia hosted a massive gathering Thursday evening on the anniversary of the launch of the Battle of Deterrence of Aggression.

Residents from all segments of society participated, affirming their support for the Syrian state, its territorial integrity, and their rejection of any attempts aimed at division or harming the social fabric.

During the celebration, participants expressed their commitment to national unity and confidence in Syria’s ability to overcome challenges, stressing that Lattakia has long stood as a model of coexistence among its diverse communities.

The event, held on the occasion of the first anniversary of the Battle of Deterrence of Aggression, once again underscored Syrians’ commitment to the unity and sovereignty of their country and their rejection of all attempts to spread discord among its people.
