Two kidnapped people from Sweida freed, Interior Security official says

Two people from Sweida, who had been kidnapped about six weeks ago, were freed following a targeted operation by the governorate’s Internal Security Forces, officials said.

Brigadier General Hussam al-Tahan, head of Sweida’s Internal Security, told SANA that the operation came after intensive follow up vowing that Interior Security Forces will continue to rescue all remaining kidnapped people, protect citizens, and pursue anyone threatening public safety.

The operation underscores ongoing security measures and efforts to combat criminal activity and ensure the safety of people.
