Israeli forces infiltrate into villages in Quneitra countryside

Israeli occupation forces on Monday infiltrated into the villages of Al-Ajraf, Al-Mushayrifa and Umm Batna in the Quneitra countryside, conducting searches and surrounding several homes.

According to SANA’s reporter in Quneitra, a patrol consisting of four military vehicles and two tanks departed from the Adnaniya point, taking the road through Al-Mushayrifa toward Al-Ajraf. The patrol stopped in Al-Mushayrifa and searched several homes.

The reporter added that another Israeli convoy, made up of seven military vehicles and two tanks, stormed the village of Umm Batna and surrounded a house west of the village  detachment. No information available about the reasons or objectives behind the action.

Israeli forces continue to violate Syrian sovereignty, breaching the 1974 Disengagement Agreement, international law and UN Security Council resolutions.

Syria has condemned these repeated Israeli incursions and called on the international community to take urgent measures to stop them.
