An Israeli force advanced on Wednesday towards the village of al-Samdaniya al -Sharqiya in Quneitra countryside, southern Syria, SANA reporter said.
According to the reporter, an Israeli force consisting of three vehicles, set up a checkpoint between al- Samdaniya al- Sharqiya and the town of Al-Ajraf, searched passersby, then withdrew after about half an hour.
Israeli forces frequently launch ground incursions into Syrian territory, in violation of the 1974 Disengagement Agreement, international law and UN Security Council resolutions.
Syria has always condemned these repeated attacks and called on the international community to take a firm stance.
