AI Robots, Smart Homes Take Spotlight at Damascus International Fair

DAMASCUS, Syria (SANA) — Artificial intelligence robots, smart home systems, and automation technologies featured prominently at the Damascus International Fair’s Technology Pavilion, highlighting Syria’s growing interest in digital innovation.

The pavilion drew strong participation from local and international companies offering services designed to meet consumer needs while keeping pace with global trends.

Takamol Tech Company introduced service robots powered by AI, capable of handling multiple commands. The lineup included delivery robots designed for restaurants and interactive models that promote businesses through mapping systems.

Asus International and TIS Australia presented integrated smart solutions for homes, hotels, and industrial facilities. Their systems enable users to manage lighting, temperature, and in-room services via screens, smartphones, or voice commands. Developers said the goal is to increase comfort while reducing energy use.

Organizers described the pavilion as a platform for exchanging expertise, spreading the culture of smart living in Syria, and showcasing technologies that can help bridge the gap with global development.
