Damascus, SANA-Activities of the 62nd edition of Damascus International Fair continue amid a remarkable media presence and wide participation from the Syrian press, which has intensified its capabilities to cover this important national event.
Abed Melhem, an introducer in Syria TV, told SANA that the channel sent a wide network of reporters to cover all events, noting that they are present through the Syria TV one , which specializes in news coverage and political programs, and Syria TV Two , which is concerned with media and drama.
Melhem pointed out that the channel’s pavilion at the exhibition allows visitors to experience media performance and learn about the scenes of journalistic work.
For his part, Ahmad Assem, supervisor in the newsroom of the Syrian Al-Ikhbariya channel, explained that an organized media plan had been prepared and distributed over the days of the exhibition to cover the events, in addition to morning programs and special news windows such as “Ishraqt Syria”.
Muhammad Al-Abbas from the Public Relations Office at Damascus Radio indicated that the focus of radio coverage was on highlighting the role of government and private companies in promoting investment, explaining that the atmosphere of the exhibition reflects a positive climate that contributes to pushing the Syrian economy forward.
