Damascus, SANA – Minister of Interior, Anas Khattab, affirmed in a post Thursday on the X platform: “The Internal Security Forces, along with the Intelligence Service, continue to prove day after day that they are the safety valve for this good country and its great people.
Every day, they write a new epic in eliminating various cells that seek to tamper and corrupt in various ways. Sometimes a cell affiliated with the remnants of the criminal defunct regime, other times with the terrorist ISIS organization, and other cells operating within different agendas, whose interests have united in an attempt to undermine the new state, but whose methods and orientations have differed.”
Minister Khattab added: “We promise our people in beloved Syria greater effort and perseverance in combating terrorism in all its forms, and that we will remain a watchful eye on their security and safety. We affirm that the Syria of the future, God willing, will be, as it has always been, a beacon of development and prosperity.”
