Aleppo, SANA-The first Trian trial journey has departed from Aleppo station to Hama Governorate announcing the revive this railway line which had been suspended since 2012 due to the war.

Head of the Trainset Group Center, Mohammad Hamza Abram described the event as a “great achievement,” confirming in a statement to a SANA that the journey was the result of comprehensive maintenance of the trains and the infrastructure of the lines.

He said, “We have worked diligently to rehabilitate what has been suspended since 2012, and our ambitions do not stop at Hama. We seek to expand the network to connect all Syrian governorates, eventually linking our network to the Turkish railway via Gaziantep in the future.”

The resumption of the train line between Aleppo and Hama is part of the state’s efforts to rehabilitate vital infrastructure damaged by the war.
