Damascus, June 7 (SANA)The Ministry of Public Works and Housing, in partnership with the General Housing Establishment and Saudi-based Abyat Investment and Real Estate Development Company, launched on Sunday the “Abyat Hills and Modern Urban Cluster” project during a ceremony held in the Dama Rose Hotel with broad official and economic participation.
The project, one of the largest urban development initiatives currently being introduced in Syria, is located in the al-Bajaa area in the Damascus countryside and is designed to support housing and urban development efforts.
According to information announced during the launch event, the project will extend over an area of approximately six million square meters and include around 20,000 residential units.
The development is scheduled to be implemented over an eight-year period and is expected to contribute to expanding housing capacity and supporting urban growth in the region.
