UN Spokesperson: International Law, UN Charter Repeatedly Violated

NEW YORK, SANA-UN spokesperson Stéphane Dujarric stated that the UN Charter and international law are repeatedly violated by some member states, particularly the Israeli war on Gaza and elsewhere.

‘’The nations must honor the commitments they have signed addressing global perceptions, Dujarric said, stressing that the UN has “failed to protect the Palestinian people.” Dujarric told the Jordanian News Agency “Petra”

He added that” the Secretary-General and all UN staff remaining in Gaza are doing their utmost to protect civilians and help them survive with the limited resources available”.

Since October 7, 2023, Israeli occupation has been waging a genocidal war on the Gaza Strip, during which “57,130” Palestinians were killed, and “135,173” were injured, in addition to massive destruction of infrastructure and homes.
