Israel issues forcible displacement orders for massive areas in Gaza City

GAZA, SANA – The Israeli military issued mass displacement orders on Sunday morning, demanding that residents of large parts of Gaza City and northern Gaza leave their homes immediately and move south toward the Al-Mawasi area, an overcrowded coastal strip west of Khan Younis.

The evacuation order includes the following neighborhoods: Al-Zaytoun, the Old City, Al-Turkman, Al-Jadida, Al-Tuffah, Al-Daraj, Al-Sabra, Jabalia al-Balad, Jabalia al-Nazla, Jabalia Camp, Al-Rawda, Al-Nahda, Al-Zuhour, Al-Noor, Al-Salam, and Tel al-Zaatar.

The Israeli military warned that these areas are considered “active combat zones” and threatened civilians with consequences should they return.

The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has so far resulted in at least 56,412 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 133,054 others injured.

Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.

Israel’s genocidal attacks continue unabated despite calls from the UN Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
