Jeddah, SANA-Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Jasem Mohamed AlBudaiwi, said that the GCC supports Syria in all efforts and measures it takes to preserve security and stability of the Syrian people.
According to the GCC website, al-Budaiwi stressed what was stated in the final statement issued by the Ministerial Council in its (163) session, condemning all acts of violence aimed at destabilizing Syria, reiterating the GCC’s firm stance in rejection of violence, terrorism, and criminal acts, regardless of their motives or causes.
He hoped security, stability and prosperity would prevail in the Syrian Arab Republic and its brotherly people, under the rule of law and justice.
