Occupied Jerusalem, Aug. 16 (SANA) Israeli occupation forces detained 19 Palestinians on Sunday during a wide-scale campaign of raids across several areas of the West Bank, amid escalating settler attacks.

The Palestinian news agency WAFA reported that Israeli occupation forces raided Palestinian homes in several West Bank governorates, detaining two Palestinians in Ramallah, four in Bethlehem and 13 in Hebron.

The raids also targeted the villages and towns of Qaryut, the New Askar refugee camp, the eastern area, Tell and Rujeib in Nablus; the Jalajel area of Hebron city; Ya’bad southwest of Jenin; Beit Liqya west of Ramallah; and Kafr Malik northeast of the city.

In Hebron, Israeli settlers attacked Palestinian homes and detained residents, injuring two Palestinians.

More than 3,000 Israeli settler attacks recorded in West Bank since 2025

The Palestine Red Crescent Society said its teams in Hebron treated 10 people during an attack by settlers and Israeli occupation forces on al-Jabari neighborhood in the al-Ras area. Two people suffered gunshot wounds and eight others were injured in beatings, including a 66-year-old woman.

Earlier Sunday, the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) said more than 3,000 settler attacks resulting in Palestinian casualties or property damage had been recorded from the beginning of 2025 through the end of June
